Elmdon crime updates

Good evening,

Here is your WMnow update for what has been going on in the Elmdon area since our last message and what the team has been up.

Crime update:

On Merevale Road, offenders attempted to steal the bumper from a Volkswagen Transporter. Failing in their attempt they left the bumper hanging off before leaving the scene.

A Ford Fiesta was stolen from Old Lode Lane. It is Unknown currently how the offenders have stolen the vehicle.

Good News:

The team conducted a drugs warrant at an address in Olton this week following intelligence received from local residents. During a search of the address, a quantity of class B drugs were found and seized. 

The team have also been conducting patrols in our hotspot areas, proactively looking for vehicles and offenders that are linked to committing crime on our area. We will continue with patrols to make your area as safe as possible. Please report any suspicious behaviour via 101 or online on the WMP website. This will assist us greatly in coordinating our daily patrols.
